Wet seeding

Wet seeding, hydro seeding or grassing by spraying

… is a mechanical way of grassing extreme areas that cannot be grassed using other techniques.

Applying to this procedure, seeds, fertilizers, Bio-Algihum® products and further components are mixed in a spezial vehicle (Hydroseeder) producing a homogeneous water suspension which later on can be sprayed with high-pressure onto areas to be grassed.

Projects could be – for example:
• Slopes on streets (highways, streets, railways)
• mountain pistes und ski runs
• Rock soil grassing (without humus)
• dumps
• Landscaping and hydraulic engineering
• grassing of extremly large areas (e.g. exploitation area of brown coal (soft coal), sand, grit)
• Renaturing of large areas

Bio-Algihum® „Flüssigkonzentrat“: 50 - 75 g/m²
in combination with
Bio-Algihum® „Ton-Humus-Pulver“ : 50 - 100 g/m²

 

Grassing of slopes along streets etc.

Dosage:
Bio-Algihum® „Flüssigkonzentrat“: 150 g/m²

Grassing of large areas

Dosage:
Bio-Algihum® „Flüssigkonzentrat“: 100 g/m²
in combination with
Bio-Algihum® „Ton-Humus-Pulver“ : 125 g/m²

Placement of straw mulch

Organic mulch fibres of chopped straw: 250/300 g/m²
